How to get involved with Hunger Action Month

Hunger Action Month is a time when people all over America stand against hunger. Sharing, volunteering, pledging to advocate, fundraising, and donating are just a few ideas for taking action.

Check our blog page during September as we offer ideas about how you support #HungerActionMonth.

Thanks to the Foodbank for this list!

Here's a few other great resources to follow in September and all year:

The Foodbank, Inc. - Last year, they provided more than 13 million meals to those in need in Montgomery, Green and Preble counties. This year they are helping more people than ever as they meet the unprecedented demand resulting from the pandemic. Learn more about their services and how to help on their website and check for updates on their Facebook page.

Feeding America has a wealth of information about hunger, including a great list of Hunger Action Month suggestions here.

The Alliance to End Hunger does powerful advocacy and supports vital relief work in America and around the world.

FRAC - the Food Research and Action center provides information on the impact of hunger and what we can do about it.
